I founded mjttnetworkmusic in June 2015 as a radio channel with rare exotica and minimal synth records plus as a parallel music website for my own ambient and experimental records back then. Soon I decided to left the radio channel and to concentrate on music creation only. And at this moment (autumn 2019), all 140+ full-length albums here were made by me only (i.e. all tracks and graphics and mastering and producing) so this is not a label or company, it's just one man project. But I assume that in future I'll be able to accept some other peoples' records, though I'm not interested in that currently.
I started making music in 2009, my first instruments were a computer with Linux + AMS synthesizer + zynaddsubfx with Ardour DAW, what was the stuff I started with back in 2009, it's MIPHNICHA in the mjttnetworkmusic catalog, experimental ambient/drone. I'm still using Linux for music as of today.
During the years, I had my own fully equipped studio with all the real life mixers and recorders (things like roland vs 808(?), korg ms20, some other korg synths (I don't remember names), 505/drum machines, akai mpc2000, roland mv 8800, some effects and reverb plates, tapes and vinyls) - I sold everything in 2013 or so, I found out that it was nonsense to work with all those, a computer is much more flexible and comfortable to work with. After I sold everything I started to use a computer only for music since then.
One may ask why I use so many pseudonyms: answer is easy: various names are just for various music ideas (das = very experimental, swhq = melodic rhythms, mjtt means nothing, 1300p = jungle or dnb, optmay = hitech ambient, etc).
. Drugs are a big illusion and you must not trick the mind, the road is always straight. I had some experience with all and I know what I'm saying. If you have some problems on your life way, you might consider to read, say, Seneca's The Epistulae Morales ad Lucilium.
In 2019, though I'm just 27 years old only and still have a lot of energy to continue to produce sounds, I decided to focus my power on philosophy writings instead. In particular, I created the https://standaloneblog.com
for that, a project on which I plan to work for the rest of my life; it's supposed to be a philisophy essays blog but with constantly book releasing cycle, once or two times a year. I'm still going to compose and produce some ambient (primary) and beat (secondly) records here from time to time, but it will be much less often now than before.
